Amsterdam

Delicious food. Fabulous restaurants. millions of bicycles. Tall blonde women. Yummy Dutch cookies. brick homes. red light district. The Dutch Country Side. Kiki. A real Saturday market. Great shopping. High top sneakers. Anne Frank Home. Bicycle ride in the park. Best Mexican Food. Kiki's rad apartment. Everyone knew English. Canal Ride. Steep Stair ways.

Day 1: Flew into Amsterdam with Kiki there to pick us up. Amazing dutch food in a Retro diner. Met Jennifer, finally we all warmed up to each other. walked home to Kiki's. Found out we had her whole apartment to ourselves. Slept wonderfully right next to each other.

Day 2: Kiki met us at her apartment, got introduced to life in the city on a bike. (A huge bike mind you) Made it alive to the Anne Frank home. Toured the home before the rush of lines. Felt a lot of different emotions, an amazing place to see with strength and love still in the walls. Ate at yet another great restaurant. Kiki really knew where to take us. Plus.. She Spoiled us, she never let us pay. We did that day though :) Played around the city feeling really cool on our bikes, just until I almost ran someone over, and they were going to do the same to me. Good thing I have blonde hair, they totally thought I was an Amsterdam-er... a ditsy one.

Day 3: We walked around the city, found some great shopping locations, learned about some great designers in the Netherlands, talked a lot about Kiki's degree in watch making, her new boyfriend and his clothing store. How no one ever gets married over there, unless they're way beyond 30. Drove around the Dutch Country seeing some fabulous homes, that I could move into in a second, such class. Had the greatest cup of hot coco. Hung out in Kiki's apartment and took on the city by ourselves. Found a great yellow cafe... mmmm... mmm.. good. lol. (get it?)

Day 4: We now leave the coolest city and off to our next country. We were a little reluctant when we got to Amsterdam wondering to ourselves if we made the right choice in going there. About day 2 we both fell in love with the busy energetic city. Kiki made our trip.
